I've been working for a while and I've seen that many users on here insult artists and their works in the comments.

Some of them get in trouble, but...

Others seem to get a free pass, even though it's obvious they're the worst of the bunch and they just get worse and worse over time. There have been users who've been banned, yet some are just given a pass.

Why is this so?

They seem to target posts which are 99.9% certainly getting deleted, to the degree that I almost just wanted to approve something to prove them wrong but that would effect site and my own credibility.

This is why they get away with it so much because
- Majority of users will most likely agree that the artwork is bad.
- When the post gets deleted their, less and less people actually see the comment.

What that also means is that less people are reporting them for this, meaning staff won't get to know about it. So if you do see this happening, simply report them. Just because you are correct, doesn't mean you should be douche about it.

+1. I've seen it all too often on this website, and while they are technically right, they have no right to say such awful things. I believe that people should have a right to be critical about what is posted here, as this is a curated furry booru after all. However, they need to make sure that the critique they are giving is actionable. The artist needs to be able to take something away from their critique and improve their art, even if it is something incredibly minor.

Every time I get "Called out" It turns out to be an alt of an alt of a banned user. This should be interesting. The only times I've been wholly flamey about my comments is when it's art so bad, It's most likely a troll attempt. Likewise shitty traces.

Furthermore I've been disciplined enough the few times I've "Gone off the rails" though that in itself is also debatable.
