Topic: Has the first page of my webcomic have minimum quality standards?

Posted under Art Talk

Hello, I came to post this topic just for ask if the first page of my new webcomic accepts the quality standards for post it even if it's intentionally drawn like a sketch. I'd not like to have the risk of having it deleted and that's why I ask this.

What do you think?

There's a section of this page shows you what the quality standards are:

I'd say it's probably good enough despite it being a sketch. This alone shouldn't result in deletion.
I think your grasp on anatomy and artistic principles is acceptable enough for the site.

Since it's traditional media, there's always a good chance that the lighting wouldn't be good enough.
However, it looks like you've scanned it, so I think it will pass in that regard as well.

The text is also perfectly readable, but I'd suggest using the Note tool to place English translation over the image.
That pretty much covers the quality standards, so as long the approver isn't concerned with anything else, there's no reason it shouldn't pass.

And of course I scanned them but I edit the scans in digital for detail more the lighting.... So technically is a mix of traditional and a little bit of digital.

Almost, but no.
It would if you drew lineart from it.

A bit of polish would go a long way. Go into an image editor, faff around with levels until all the linework you want to keep is suitably dark, clean up anything that isn't quite right, add actual separations between your panels, and draw out full speech bubbles in your image editor. Same goes for dialogue in general, use a text tool because it gives you greater control over how you want your text to look and it ensures that all the text is equally legible.

In my opinion, it's better quality than most of what gets posted here. It's an uncolored sketch, yes, but your anatomy is terrific.

También es bueno tener la oportunidad de practicar mi español.
