Yeah Rose was literally never referred to as Rose Quartz Universe in any form of SU media...

She's referred to as such via fanon terminology, but I feel it works well since it's very specific and helps to identify this character from another, theoretically possible rose quartz character (since the gem alien race can have multiples of one type). It distinguishes her as the main rose quartz

However, it's an easy fix back to just a suffix tag, just reversing the aliases. A click of the button. So if it's generally disagreed upon by several users, I can gladly change it.

There are, indeed, other Rose Quartz characters in the franchise. However, each of them already has an extra moniker to differentiate them from other RQ's. This one is known as "Hippie Rose" or "Chill Rose," depending who you ask. This one is referred to as "Superfan Rose." This one also has two different names, depending who you ask-Either "Shy Rose" or "Dead Ringer Rose." So, since they each already have their own distinctifying name, there's really no need to give Steven's mother her own distinct name. (Especially since, spoiler alert, she's not even an actual Rose Quartz to begin with.)

Also, I'm curious where you got your information that the fanbase calls Steven's mother "Rose Quartz Universe," considering I've been a fan of the show since midway through season one, and have several friends who are also fans, and visit a number of fan sites...and I've literally never heard anyone call her that, before you.

If anything, to be extremely blunt about it, we could just call her "Pink Diamond" as that's her true identity.

Though that would be a massive spoiler to a very important character in the series, assuming that everyone should have known it already.
