Hi guys, a community I'm in has found my IB and e621 and are spreading it around. Is there anyway to set my e621 account to not be visible to people, or to atleast not show images I've favourited?

Just change your username so that it's not the same one you use in other locations? You can otherwise move your favorites into a hidden set that only you can view, but that's not an option for InkBunny.

Even if he changes name past name will be visible + account Id doesn't change.

If you don't want to have your images you enjoy public you can make a private set and instead add images into the set instead of the favorites

They changed that. Past names aren't visible anymore.

If subject matter is an issue, I'd like to point out you can't unfavourite deleted posts, which retain tags and source links.

Can't you remove them with Remove from Favorites mode on the post index?

You're pretty much fucked. Own it or burn all your connections and online identity and start over from the beginning.

I'm sure it would mean a lot of work for someone, but it seems like maybe it's worthwhile for the site's programmers to think about ways for users to erase their presence here in the future?

You can easily modify who's name is in a quote so that's not much matter.

Yes, but... can *you* change the name that *I* put into a quote? Since most people don't anonymize or otherwise try to misattribute their quotes, I think Dogenzaka's point stands.

And further, unless you changed the user number linked to in the quotation, the new account name could be stumbled across in old, otherwise-anonymized quotations anyways.
