I have updated the Booru Pool Downloader chrome extension to version 2.0, which now also supports the site Inkbunny.net. Note that you'll have to enable API access under your IB account settings in order to access mature content.

More sites to come in the future. Let me know what sites you would most prefer.

Also, give me a shout if you encounter any issues!

Updated

v3.0 is now out. This makes it much more stable and fixes an issue with Danbooru. More sites will be supported and a real settings screen will be added in the next updates.

Hey. Expansion is good, but I want to for example download pictures of any author, with the remaining methods to put it mildly, I do not work. Is it possible in the future update, where will be the ability to download not only pictures in the "folder", but also on the tags of interest?

Do you mean an option to download all images that are the result of a search? I'll work on this when I can.

Here's the start: (image)

This extension has been updated to v4.0 with a mass downloader that will show up in e621.

Example

It doesn't play well with flash right now, so add in "-type:swf" so you aren't constantly prompted.

I'm sure there are a number of bugs with the pausing and stopping, so let me know if you run into anything!

Necrobump, apologies, but the extension is no longer on the Chrome Store, and GitHub isn't much help on installation either.

I haven't tried this, but this should work:

1. Download the CRX file from https://github.com/Chirmaya/BooruSlideshow
2. Rename the CRX file's extension to .ZIP
3. Unzip the file
4. Go to chrome://extensions/ and check the box for Developer mode in the top right.
5. Click the Load unpacked extension button and select the unzipped folder for your extension to install it.

Hmm, didn't work. Like, I extracted the CRX file, turned on developer mode, chose the folder and it did "install" but it doesn't work at all. Also renaming the extension to zip didn't work, it refused to extract, only option was to extract from the CRX itself.

Instead I get this crap:

"Your file was not found" so yeah, that's not an option. Google was a dick for removing it from the chrome store, it should be restored back IMO. I don't know what else to do, since it's refusing to work properly. Like again, it did "install" but it's nonfunctional.

Oh yeah, I forgot that those CRX files are now more than just a zip file. I've uploaded the zip files and added links to the main pages. Give that a try!

Maybe I'm blind, but I see that it's a slideshow viewer, but the last Booru plugin had an option to download batches of images using tags. Like say, "vore, large_female" in the search bad on this site, then there'd be a download button below where all the tags are lists. That doesn't seem to the case here, was there something else or another plugin I'm confusing this with?

Don't get me wrong, your instructions helped me install this, but I must be confusing this with something else maybe?

The one on the Chrome store was the one I used, and downloaded all images that were searched with specific tags, but all this does is a slideshow, not a pool downloader. Does that make sense?

I copied the wrong link. Use https://github.com/Chirmaya/BooruPoolDownloader

I've updated the app to work with the new e621 API, so both the pool downloading and mass-downloading works again.

is there a way to change a few settings in this extension? for example, it only recently started saving .jpeg images as .jfif (a format i cant use on my phone)
and the downloader is limited to 320 posts (i like downloading everything in a few tabs and sorting through them later) is there any way to fix these?

The problem with the file extension sounds like a Windows issue. According to these posts, it seems like a registry modification may fix that:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/af0azy/windows_10_had_been_saving_nearly_every_image_as/
https://www.reddit.com/r/chrome/comments/bshqd0/chrome_saves_jpeg_files_as_jfif/

For the 320 post limit, I'll look into it, as it shouldn't be doing that.

The 320 post limit bug should be resolved now.
