It's a meta tag which refers to the size ratio of the image. If horizontal gets 50 shares of length and vertical gets 59 shares, it's 50:59. 500x590 seems to be a rather common size for whatever reason, which nets the ratio tag.

Hmm, could it be the "default" canvas size in some art program?
Weird. That's one pixel closer to a 5:6 ratio. Not sure why...
