While I understand their reasonings, it makes me sad when artists issue takedowns. If it wasn't for that comic being on here, I wouldn't have found the artist to follow them on FA.

Ultimately it's the artist's choice and I'd never want to take that power away from them, but if they're still active and rely on commissions and patrons, it's always struck me as... weird? Worst case scenario, they could always set up a conditional DNP with whatever stipulations they want. Again, it's what they personally want, I don't want to argue about that.

Agreed, I've even personally told a couple artists that I saw complaining about the site that they could request to be made DNP on here. It's just too bad because with how the tagging system works on here, it makes it really easy to find artists whose content matches my interests, but only while their work is up here. FA's tag system is a joke (and a lot of artists treat it like one) so I have a hard time finding what I'm looking for over there.
