The tag implication #33053 symbiote -> marvel has been rejected.
Reason: symbiote: "The Symbiotes (originally known as the Klyntar) are a fictional race of amorphous extraterrestrial symbiotes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics."

Symbiote is a general term for an organism living in symbiosis (i.e. an organism living in more or less intimate association or close union of another dissimilar organism). The wiki even states that the Symbiotes "are a fictional race of ... symbiotes" (notice the capitalizations). The goa'uld from Stargate are another species of symbiotes. I don't think the tag should apply solely to those from Marvel, perhaps a separate symbiote_(marvel) tag should be used instead.
I was thinking about that, but that's already covered under parasite (although that tag's a bit of a mess in terms of what's tagged under it). Beyond that, how would a symbiotic organism be evident enough to warrant a tag?
