Topic: [REJECTED] Tag implication: netherland_dwarf_rabbit -> rabbit

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag implication #33071 netherland_dwarf_rabbit -> rabbit has been rejected.

Reason: a netherland dwarf rabbit is a specific type of rabbit, and while there's not many posts on e621 including them, it's still not implicating the rabbit tag and the tags that tag implicates, which is a minor issue that should be solved.

EDIT: The tag implication netherland_dwarf_rabbit -> rabbit (forum #294367) has been rejected by @NotMeNotYou.

I'm not sure how to tell a Netherland dwarf rabbit apart from a normal rabbit, but if it's going to be a tag I guess it makes sense to implicate rabbit.

Should be netherland_dwarf_rabbit -> dwarf_rabbit -> domestic_rabbit -> rabbit. The very wikis you're linking have domestic_rabbit in the taxonomic structure and should not be ignored. Further, no, the netherland dwarf is not a subspecies of anything, it is a breed in the dwarf group. Netherland dwarf rabbits can usually be discerned by proportions, especially in the face and ears with short, blunt skulls and short, pointed ears.

I completely missed domestic_rabbit when looking through those wikis. How did my eyes not see that!?

I'll try submitting all those in a BUR.
