It isn't the same thing. It is for macro-sized penises. A macro character can have a macro sized penis, and not qualify as hyper, which specifically defines a size disproportionate to the character. It also specifies an extreme level of disproportion if a regular sized character wields one of these things. Hyper penis could only mean a penis the size of a character's body, but macro penis would be several times larger than their body at least.

This is useful for anyone who either wants to or doesn't want to see grossly excessive penis lengths or any genitalia for that matter. It separates the moderate hyper images from the extreme, while also including the macro anatomy that isn't included, because those characters are proportionately much larger.

From the macro penis wiki: "A character with a penis that is so large that it would proportionally fit that of a macro character. This penis would be considered extremely hyper on a regularly sized character." Meaning that it's not a macro penis on a macro character (thus a 'normal'-sized penis).

Personally, I don't necessarily agree with the alias, since it seems to be its own specific hyper+ size category. I'd say implicate, instead.
