Topic: How do I blacklist low res images?

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

I tried putting width:<1280 in my blacklist but it didn't do anything. And if I blacklist the "low_res" tag, it only covers the smallest thumbnails. If anything, I want to blacklist everything that isn't tagged "hi_res"

Image width / height don't work in the blacklist, unfortunately.
Only images with both width and height of 500 or less are tagged as low_res. To qualify for hi_res, the image should be at least 1600 pixels wide or 1200 pixels tall.
I don't think that there is an intermediate resolution tag.

Simply use -high_res -absurd_res -superabsurd_res on one line in your blacklist. Thumbnail, low_res, and "medium res" images will be removed from the posts you see, as well as any that aren't tagged with those you've excluded... but we have a bot that goes around and adds these tags, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Just -hi_res is enough, as absurd_res implies hi_res and superabsurd_res implies absurd_res.

I mean, you gotta be thorough...

True, I forgot about those implications. Just -high_res will work.

Wait so you can use a minus to make it a whitelist instead? That's unusual. I'll give it a shot.
