All dmails exist in two versions, one belonging to the sender and one belonging to the recipient. The sender can only view their own sent copy, and the recipient only their own received copy.

Administrators can't read dmails sent between users. The only way they can be read is if the dmail in question is reported.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but Google reads your gmail, your cell phone tracks literally everywhere you go, and Clearview AI scraped your social media pics and used them to train their facial recognition software. E621 admin reading a creepy message you sent someone is not the "privacy crime" I'd be worried about.

-second of all, even ignoring that, once you send an unsolicited message in any format to another person if there is no two-way agreement of confidentiality neither party has any responsibility to not share any correspondence made.

The moment you click "send" you allow the recipient to do with the private message whatever they want with it, including reporting it to us if they feel it's required.
