Topic: Animal Crossing is Basically Furry Waifu Simulator.

Posted under General

Animal Crossing is basically a game where you gather all the furry waifus you possibly love and bring them to your island where you can be your own Harem Protagonist.

It's like a Gacha Games, like Fate/Grand Order, but for kids and adults, instead of summoning sexy female interpretations of historical figures to take to your home and have perverted fantasies about. It's inviting animals and pretty much doing the same thing.

Not saying it's a bad thing. Does anybody literally look up porn of every single female anthro that comes onto your island? I do, gotta collect all those half-naked furry waifus!

honestly, I feel like if the games leaned harder into this kinda thing I'd like the series a bit more. I feel like having relationships develop between player and villager and villager and villager maybe in a Tomodachi Life type situation (probably not romantic, because I don't think Ninty would go for that) would make the games more interesting. sort of the way that every game has Sable's character change as the player interacted with them just do that with all of the villagers. as-is I don't think the games really give you enough reasons to care about your villagers other than which ones you like the designs of.

I want to point to Captain Southbird's Beast Intersection YouTube series as probably the closest thing to how I'd want the actual Animal Crossing series to progress, you know, without the swearing and sexual references and broken english and everything. (watch Captain Southbird)

there's a furry mod for stardew valley, that might be up your alley

I mean, maybe, I guess? but that's mostly just player/NPC development and not NPC/NPC development, I want to see other characters develop friendships/rivalries/etc. over time, I want to see the little random interactions between villagers mean something and not just be visual.

I got excited to marry characters when I first played Skyrim. I was pretty disappointed to find out all they do is just stand around in your house all day and occasionally make you some food. I feel like the disappotment would be even worse if you could marry villagers.

The Villagers are wearing their tops and bottoms, but sometimes Furries aren't wearing any bottoms...I have something to think about. ...Hmm, it's a different game now I've fantasized about it when I was playing a game, too. That's what happens sometimes when I get to be a character in a game.
Maybe it's a message from the makers that they want everyone to portray a different story ( so that the protagonist characters in the Pocket Monster series don't talk ). That's why it's okay to be delusional!

I hear you need the Nintendo Switch 2 PRO and the Hot Coffee Mod to get the best gameplay experience out of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
