Reason: The mascot of Pixar Animation Studios, originating from the 1986 short film Luxo Jr., who appears in their vanity plate.
Luxo ASA, the makers of the Luxo lamps, still owns the trademarks to their lamps, and Luxo Jr. himself is modeled after one of their iconic L-1 lamps. They sued Disney in 2009 for selling Luxo Jr. branded lamps, which came to a settlement where Disney and Pixar agree not to sell the lamps while Luxo ASA will continue to allow them to use the Luxo Jr. character. Thus, it can be presumed that their trademark covers Pixar's Luxo Jr. character, so Luxo Jr. should also imply the lamp manufacturer.
