sex_toy_penetration was changed to sex_toy_insertion. Now, sex_toy_penetration is used, if somebody uses a flashlight or similar, right?
I started to remove it from some posts, but I think I should ask before I keep going.

Oh boy, not sure when that split was created, but it's best to leave it be until a proper discussion/consensus can be made.
I raised the issue of inconsistencies between the penetration/insertion wiki definitions back in topic #27854 but no meaningful change has been made.

Yeah. Penetration/insertion is kinda confusing. If you see the wikis side by side.

I can only repeat myself.
These two sentences are the worst:
-This does not include fist/paw/hoof/arm/etc. For this use fisting instead.
-This does not include fingers. For this use fingering instead.

Because they are just wrong in my opinion. A fist that is in an orifice is a penetration, and a finger also.

The reasoning behind that can be found there I think.
The main reason why it was aliased away was because it's constantly undertagged/mistagged and people can't differentiate between penetration & insertion.

The problems with the wikis has existed for the longest of time (topic #5418 & topic #911) and it has been brought up time and time again over the years.
