They are the same thing. Squirmle is the official name of the toy, which is why it should be the main tag.

Should be reversed. If there's an official name, that should be used regardless of which one's more popular.

I've never heard of Squirmles and I'm not convinced it is the "official" name but just one of many brands like Magic Wigglee (which originates in the 70s just like Squirmles), Magic Twisty Worm and probably hundreds of Chinese clones.

Worm_on_a_string works better for me - it's the most common name I hear and describes a generic product produced by multiple companies rather than one American-centric brand name that I'm sure a lot of people haven't heard of.
