Topic: Much of my stuff has not been yet approved

Posted under General

Hello! Austin here. Sorry to bother our moderators and stuff, and I don't know where to ask about it, but it's been a while since I've been waiting for my drawings to be approved (most of them), since I want to upload more stuff of mine, but I seem to not be capable of doing so because of that. How much should I wait till it gets approved?

Thank you in advance.

Cheers,

Austin.

In most cases, posts that best meet the uploading guidelines and quality standards would get approved swiftly by a moderator.

However, it is not uncommon for posts to go unapproved for days or even weeks if the quality standards are within the grey area/borderline.
This is when multiple moderators will review your post and give an opinion on whether to approve or decline it.
If a post goes unapproved for 30 days, it automatically gets deleted. You can read more about the Mod Queue here.

You will just have to be patient and wait for your posts to get approved or deleted.

But, if those 30 days pass and my work gets deleted, I'll have less allowed uploads by the formula, if it works that way with these kinds of exceptions. Then, how does that not interfere with my own profile? (Talking about uploads).

Thank you.

Austin.

If your posts are in danger of being deleted – that is, they are approaching the 30 day cutoff point – feel free to send me a DMail, and I'll take a look.

Deleted posts will count against your upload limit quota. It's supposed to work like that so that people don't abuse/spam the upload system with low quality posts.
The opposite is done with accepted posts. The more posts are accepted, the more you could post in the future.

You can ask one of the admins to reset your limit, if your upload limit reaches zero.

By the time thirty days have passed, they've probably been reviewed by the staff already, and all reviewers felt it was below the bar, but close. Although that does still carry the upload penalty, that it was so close should be taken as a good thing. Keep working at it and you should soon enough pass the standards.
