Reason: Because this bitch just got a canonical surname after 4 years and like hell am I manually updating all 117 of those posts.

Why not an alias? It seems like a legitimate case for one and it would preserve anybody's blacklisting or saved search queries.

+1 for aliasing, it’s extremely unlikely that the tag ian_(fuze) is ever going to be needed for anything else.

Also that raises the question of whether tags like ty_(fuze) should be aliased, and whether they should all be implicated to texnatsu (Anubis knows I've forgotten that tag often enough). I could probably put together a large-scale BUR if there's demand for one, but this seemed like the simplest and quickest solution for a tag which has more or less been used by only me for the last 3 years. I was trying to minimise the risk of it languishing on forum page 20 like so many other artist-specific BURs.

And it looks like this BUR isn't needed any more anyway because somebody with Privileged rank ran a tag script, which is exactly what I would have done if I had been able to.
