Couldn’t figure out how to request an un-alias through the aliasing system, but basically the fictional kittydog species is distinct enough both in art style and specs to be considered different from a hybrid between a cat and a dog. There is a fan community around this specific species with many people making their own personal characters around it.
Rather, I think it should be implicated as hybrid instead, since it is stated by the creator that they are a “magical” cat and dog hybrid.

Only real world hybrids are allowed to have species tags. That is a measure to prevent tag bloat. If the "kittydog" you are talking about should be considered different from a hybrid between a cat and a dog, then it should not be implicated to hybrid.
