Topic: [APPROVED] Tag alias: talos -> talos_(disambiguation)

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag alias #61606 talos -> talos_(disambiguation) has been approved.

Reason: talos is too generic of a name, send to disambiguation.

Lots of existing talos tags: https://e621.net/tags?commit=Search&search%5Bhide_empty%5D=1&search%5Bname_matches%5D=talos%2A&search%5Border%5D=date

EDIT: The tag alias talos -> talos_(disambiguation) (forum #359795) has been approved by @furrypickle.

Aaand now it has -2 posts. Why does this keep happening?

(Both of the two posts were definitely typos for talons. One already had both characters tagged - and they both appeared in a large number of other pictures under their respective tags - and the other one was added by a third party in an edit that also included "bird_feet".)

I manually fixed it. Admins have a button that can manually force the cached count to update. It's not uncommon for the tag count to be slightly off up or down. But when a tag has hundreds to thousands of posts, it also doesn't matter too much if it's off by one or two. However, if it gets off by a large amount (sometimes after a big alias or implication goes through, or after a large deletion), or if the tag is very small (and especially with disambiguation tags where being able to see if it's empty is a lot more important), it can matter more. So if you find a disambiguation tag that's off like that, or if something seems off by a couple dozen or more, then I'd be willing to fix it. I try to keep an eye out for those things in general, but they can be hard to find on purpose.
