Topic: Revert aliasing better/alternate_version_at_paywall -> better/alternate_version_at_source

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The bulk update request #4624 is active.

remove alias alternate_version_at_paywall (786) -> alternate_version_at_source (16205)
remove alias better_version_at_paywall (891) -> better_version_at_source (2367)

Reason: They're not the same thing at all, I go looking for bvas posts and replace them with the better counterparts, and this gets all mixed up if we alias them.,
BVAP and AVAP also allow the artist that post their content on E621 to advertise their paywall sites (if they actually host better or alternate versions) by using these tags.

If there's a way to revert aliases, it's alias #62055 and alias #62056. Otherwise accept this BUR and we have to go through them manually

EDIT: The bulk update request #4624 (forum #363573) has been approved by @Rainbow_Dash.

Couldn't this be rolled into better_version_at_paywall or alternate_version_at_paywall? These tags are already stretching it since it's impossible for non-paying users to verify their accuracy if the artist doesn't already say it in the image description, making it largely redundant.

uh no becuase it describes an image being uncensored when the image on e6 is censored. We have uncensored_version_at_source as a separate tag too.You could make the argumernts they both should be aliased, but I dont think your idea is helpful.
