Topic: Incorrect Removal Lazyblazy

Posted under General

I just noticed that 13 of my uploads to Lazyblazy's catalog were marked and removed for being paid content. I also received a warning. This is incorrect.

All of the images were uploaded publicly by the artist to their ABDL Galleria Discord channel. I wrote this in the description and linked to their official Patreon where the full versions/set could be found. Example: https://e621.net/posts/4163408

This is the second time a misunderstanding has happened regarding Discord uploads. Is their some way I can prevent this from happening in the future once this is resolved? I thought that mentioning the origin of the picture/animation would be enough to convey that it was not paywalled content? Is Discord just considered paywalled until proven otherwise? I don't mean to sound bitter about this, it's just all very discouraging after taking the time to find, source and tag the images properly.

If their Discord is public and not paywalled, how does anybody join? The only mention I see of it is as a Patreon perk, tier 2 and above list "Discord access" as a perk.

EDIT: The artwork is posted in the server ABDL Galleria - which is publicly listed in numerous places such as Disboard and DeviantArt - it has a dedicated channel where lazyblazy posts their art.

I'd suggest DMailing Rainbow Dash, who gave you the warning, with this information because the chances are they may not see this thread.

I'll contact them thanks.

It's been a week since I contacted Rainbow Dash about the takedown/feedback, but I haven't received a reply.

Is there anyone else that can help me with this? Is there something else I can do?

You could try reporting one of the deleted posts. Don't worry too much about the selected reason - it's just the best way to draw staff attention to a problem with a post, so as long as you explain the situation in the text field you'll at least get a public response.

The following has me hesitant to report: "Abuse of this system will lead to disciplinary action"

I really don't want to anger the admins/janitors if the stated reason is not relevant to the problem. Have you done this before without issue?

Even if it's the wrong way to do things, you aren't going to get a neutral, much less a negative record for it. A mistake doesn't constitute abuse. They're also unlikely to get angry regarding this either.

Plus you can blame wat8548 for it if things get rough. /j

Yes - unfortunately, the stated reasons comprise only a small subset of valid reasons to report a post. In the past I've had to select one at random and then state the actual problem in the text field, which you'll likely have to do. As long as there is an actual problem requiring staff attention, and you aren't just reporting a post because you don't like its content, the staff won't get mad at you.

The only thing that might trip you up is that, even if the same problem affects multiple posts, you should only submit a report for one of them and link to the others in the text. I've noticed that multiple identical reports for different posts, even if each one is individually valid, seem to really piss the staff off for some reason.

(Honestly, despite the dire warnings, they are also far too lenient on people who do abuse the system. Comments breaking the "use your blacklist" rule tend to get cracked down upon harder than false reports doing the same.)

Found and uploaded from the public Discord release by the artist on ABDL Galleria.
Higher rez art and alt versions can be found on their Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/lazyblazy

So we're expected to google "ABDL Galleria,"
find that Discord link,
then go in and verify that the artist is actually there?

I had to scroll all the way back to 2019 to find any mention of LazyBlazy on that DeviantArt account.

Nearly 2000 posts are uploaded every day. Expecting us to do this legwork is unreasonable. If all we see is a Patreon link with the only Discord mention in one of their subscription tiers, then that's what we're going to assume.

I'll remove the record out of good will alone, but I'm not going out of my way to verify those posts.

I'm not quite sure what to make of this. I mentioned specifically that the images were public releases and linked to the artists Patreon if people were interested in full versions of the images. Does this mean Discord uploads are forbidden due to the difficulty of looking up the source? Should I add a direct hyperlink to the discord channel invite? Is there some way I can direct link to the image in the channel?

Look, I understand the frustration the app causes. I hate having to scroll through channels to find the images I want to upload, but unfortunately Discord is where tons of artists upload their content, whether we like the format or not. There are tons more images that I would be willing to upload if there would be some way to go about this without getting the images taken down due to assumed paysite violations.

All you had to do was provide a link to a public post from an official source which proves that the channel in question is not exclusive to Patreon subscribers. It looks like faucet already provided one for you.

I think I figured out a solution after searching up ways to directly link messages in Discord. It turns out you can link messages directly if you open up a context menu in the message the image is uploaded to.

I've never heard anyone talk about this feature before, but it going forward it should probably be standard to use this when linking Discord uploads.

I'm going to update all the images with the new direct links and discord channel invite and see if that is acceptable for reinstatement.

I appreciate it. I've now linked every one of the following posts with the direct Discord messages they were uploaded to. You shouldn't have to search through an entire channel anymore.

I'll be doing this with every post from Discord in the future. Hopefully this saves us all a load of headaches in the future.

If you or anyone else with the power to do so could verify that the links are genuine and reinstate the deleted posts, that would be much appreciated.
