create implication holding_halberd (25) -> halberd (569)
create implication holding_halberd (25) -> holding_polearm (1443)
create implication holding_polearm (1443) -> holding_melee_weapon (11512)
create implication holding_spear (1151) -> holding_polearm (1443)

Reason: A few implication chains which should be in place to ensure the appropriate tag additions are on a post.

remove implication holding_sword (8622) -> holding_weapon (38630)
remove implication holding_battle_axe (48) -> holding_weapon (38630)
remove implication holding_spear (1151) -> holding_weapon (38630)
remove implication holding_machete (46) -> holding_weapon (38630)
remove implication holding_bow_(weapon) (567) -> holding_weapon (38630)

Reason: We have tags designated specifically for holding melee weapons and holding ranged weapons. The appropriate chains should be in place to populate these tags so they don't go underutilized.

imply holding_sword -> holding_melee_weapon
imply holding_battle_axe -> holding_melee_weapon
imply holding_battle_axe -> holding_melee_weapon
imply holding_machete -> holding_melee_weapon
imply holding_dagger -> holding_melee_weapon
imply holding_bow_(weapon) -> holding_ranged_weapon

EDIT: The bulk update request #7672 (forum #401647) has failed: Implication for holding_battle_axe not found

Do throwing weapons like javelins count as melee weapons? It's an edge case, and obviously they can be used to stab, but I can imagine the polearm -> melee_weapon implication being a bit weird in some cases.

A Javelin *is* a type of spear, but they're specialized, and outside of Olympic events, they were designed in a way that they couldn't be easily used against the person who threw them at you. Barbed heads and softer metals so they would bend upon impact and render them useless should they fail. Polearms are weapons designed for hand-to-hand combat, and stronger materials are built to last through continuous abuse. A javelin is not a polearm despite sharing the visual characteristics of one. It should be in a throwing weapon category along with throwing knives, shuriken, throwing axes, etc. But if we do go into a throwing weapons tag, we need to set clear criteria for where the situation is valid to tag it, given that they're specialized versions of what would usually be melee weapons.

I suppose I don't think a Javelin should implicate spear or be tagged as a spear, lest we get into pedantics. As there are a large retinue of different types of spears that someone could be intending to tag, and few of them relate to throwing the weapon. And I don't think we need a tag for every type of spear.
