I'm suggesting turning the Engineer tag into a disambiguation page as it could refer to more then few things such as:

1. A job profession.
2. An alien species from the alien film franchise, Engineers are also known as Pilots, Space Jockeys, Ossians or Mala'kak.
3. A character from Team Fortress 2.
4. A character from Factorio.
5. A character from Risk of Rain.
6. A character from Deep Rock Galactic.
7. A character from Pokemon

+1. Do a mass update, then alias to a disambiguation tag

6 out of 7 of those are basically the same meaning, though. Could just give the alien species its own tag (edit: which it already has, apparently). So, is it really needed? I feel like engineer means the job in basically every context, especially since basically all the characters named engineer act or look like a field engineer.

That said, engineer can also be used for a train driver for some reason, so I'm not really against disambiguation either. post #3865882
Perhaps even a mass update to a job tag, then a disambiguation? Ah that's what SNPtheCat suggested, so yeah, I agree with that.

Saying it's just a job. That is so heartless!
Seriously though, it's kind of annoying for tagging purposes, when a character design corresponds with a generic name like that. Say, if the Johnny Cab in Total Recall was instead just called Taxi or Cabbie.
