Yeah, I've had some strange happenings with thumbnails of searched images not loading here and there with others loaded. Sometimes when I click a thumbnail the image doesn't load, just a blank frame with the broken file icon, and no amount of refreshing fixes it. I back up to the search results then double click the image and it usually loads 50% of the time. I don't really know if this is happening to anyone else or if its just me. I'm not very 'active' on this site, but I felt I should mention this since the news feed says, 'Please not any strangeness in the forums! - Varka' and I think this qualifies as strangeness. Well, that's about it I guess.

The servers migrated, did you try clearing your browser cache and flushing your DNS?

Nope, clearing the cache didn't fix it for me. Until things clear up it's just a gamble whenever I click an image hoping it loads.

Ctrl + F5 = re-downloads page.
F5 = Calls cache of the page form the browser.

Clear cookies, then if that doesn't work, trim your blacklist, we got a small bug on the new server.

I've cleared my cookies and I don't have a black list, I'm trying the F5 thing but no luck any other suggestions?

I've also got another bit of wierdrness, when I click Download and try to save as it keeps giving me the "connection to server was reset" error and when I just click download to get to the base image I have to refresh the page a dozen or more times to get the image to load

I didn't want to beat a dead horse and chip in, but I'm having the same problem too. My Firefox just does not want to load any of the pictures on this site. All of the ads load fine, but every picture is just a wall of tag-text.

Still having the same problem, Ads and Thumnails loading fine, but the pictures themselves won't load.

Hellow, the same problem happens to me at times and since almost 2-3 years now. When the thumbnails won't load, it's basically, as I observed, because of the ads not loading properly (Yeah, this site is whitelisted since 3 years now). The ads load before the thumbnails, so if the ads have a problem to load, the thumbnails won't load.

I've noticed that, too. Some days it wouldn't load, so I'd just refresh the page, but now it's consistently not working. I've checked back every couple of days, but I haven't seen a picture on E621 in over a week now.

My problem has now gone away. My laptop died a few weeks ago so now I'm using my new desktop. Everything is fine with the site and images loading, (for some reason) but now I'm noticing that animated images, flash or gif, will not load. Anyway, that's the story with me so far.

I'm not a computer wizard, but do you have Flash and Java installed and up to date?

Still having problems, had some troble with the thumnails not loading but right click, show picture fixed that.
I have to fight fang and claw to get a picture to actually load.
When I use my friends laptop everything's wizard but when I use my computer it's just not working.
Anyway thanks for any and all work thats gone into fixing this problem and I hope things start working right again soon.
Hey it's getting better, I only had to refreash that image FIVE times to get it to show up properly, of course it's pretty much the first image I've gotten to show up in about a week so...

The sites working better today but it's still inconsistant, I'm only having to refesh images one to three times and sometimes not at all, so yay improvement.
Thanks for the works thats gone into getting things working again and hopefully everything will be bake to normal in a day or two.

It seams to have gotten worse, I've spent close to fifteen minutes just trying to get enough thumnails to load.
*Sighs* This is getting ridiculous. I hope this gets fixed.

I'm not aware of any issues which would be affecting images loading on the site; what operating system and browser (name + exact version) are you using?

There were some issues earlier last week where Internet Explorer refused to load pages served securely which contained insecure content (HTTPS page, HTTP images), but all images are now served over HTTPS which should have solved the problem. Where are you browsing from, and what kind of internet connection (ISP and type) are you using? Somebody or something could be 'resetting' the connections you're making to the server, especially if you're using a browser which does not pipeline requests (eg, make multiple requests per connection).

Windows XP & IE8

Had the same issue here for the past few weeks. Firefox 23 (formerly 22), tried a new profile, Windows 7, the thumbnails load fine for me, but neither the picture pages nor the direct image links (clicking Download) show. The image pages fail to load and the direct image pages show a Connection Was Reset error.

Still having the same problem, any ideas or progress would be appreciated.

This is a pretty good example of what I'm going through.

I'm still having this problem and now it's happening on my friends computer which a week ago was working fine.

I've been observing this since the announcement suggesting clearing DNS cache and deleting cookies to fix it.

It is somewhat intermittent for me and does not appear to have much of a pattern to it. I did only notice it once stuff started coming from static1.e621.net.

If I haven't come here at all today (with the browser still open since the last time), everything works properly. All the thumbnails load on the first try. Run a search and it is usually about 50/50 for the results to actually load thumbnails. When it doesn't, it just says 'waiting for static1...' and after about 90 seconds, the outline of the images becomes wall-o-text for all the tags.

If I just simply F5, sometimes it loads properly, other times it just sits there waiting again. Even fewer sometimes, before a second time-out, everything starts loading just fine.

I will note that the most common symptom here is I get 500 or 503 errors right around the same time as time-outs.

XP + FF 23.0.1, btw.
