The tag alias #75229 megafauna -> invalid_tag has been approved.
Reason: Just means 'large animal', does not convey any useful information.
There's not really a better alias target, similar tags like fauna and animal are already aliased to invalid tag.

Technically, it refers to naturally large animals like elephants, mammoths, indricotheres, rhinos from Javan to elasmothere, T. rexes, and sauropods, but what the threshold for counting as a megafaunal species varies from 22 lbs to 2,200 lbs with 99 lbs as a common threshold. On e621, it also seems to be also applied to scaled up versions of smaller animals regardless of whether that's normal for the species (and would be more like macros) and to large fantasy monsters. I agree that it's probably not going to work too well.
