Topic: With the new tag wiki preview, should we start adding wikis to tags that are aliased away to disambiguation?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

If you were to search bolt_(disambiguation), you'd see:

Ambiguous tag.
You might be looking for one of the following:

bolt_(film)
bolt_(bolt)
bolt_(fastener)
crossbow_bolt
lightning_bolt

Which COULD be helpful, but of course no one would ever type that in the search bar. Instead, they'd search for bolt and see no wiki preview because bolt lacks a wiki. Should the wiki for bolt_(disambiguation) be copied to bolt and similar for other disambiguation tags?

Ideally bolt would be aliased to bolt_(disambiguation). So searching bolt would bring you to a search for bolt_(disambiguation), giving you the disambiguation wiki page.

Actually wait, it is. Searching bolt brings you to a search for bolt_(disambiguation), so shouldn't the wiki page for bolt_(disambiguation) be displayed?

Rather than completely copying the wiki, grab your closest Privileged user and get them to make the wiki with a redirect, like I've just done

(Though the search feature doesn't currently seem to follow redirects, so someone should poke the bug report topic about that)
