To cut to the chase, Hazard Core is the name of the 3D artist WARFAREMACHINE's personal made-up setting that most of his sci-fi oriented OCs reside in. Here is the best explanation I can find of what Hazard Core exactly is, but from what I can gather it's for the most part a loose collection of lore tidbits that WM leaves under his 3D renders. It isn't attached to a novel, webcomic, video game, or any "published work" apart from frequently being mentioned and described under the occasional post by WM featuring an OC from said universe.
That all to ask the question, is "Hazard Core" substantial enough to warrant its own tag? From what I can gather, it's a universe/setting with established characters and lore, and it's more than just a collection of one person's OCs, so it's not really a commissioner tag. Or is there not enough of a "central work" that Hazard Core is based around to warrant such a tag, maybe instead it'd fit better in a pool or a set? Either way, WM has written a lot of lore about this universe, made many OCs for it, and he mentions on his FA page that he plans to "build a tale" about Hazard Core in the future, although that may be out of date.
So, yeah. Worthy of a tag or not? If it is, some OCs could probably be implied to said tag, but before I go touching it (and the existing hazardcore tag) I'd like to know y'alls opinion on it.
