you don't have to let us know when you make a new character tag.

but you might want to make a bur to implicate them to the copyright they are from, if they are from a copyright

If you want to create a new character tag or change an existing tag's type to a character tag, refer to the pinned topic #23553.

If you want to make a bulk update request (BUR) to have all of these tags imply the copyright tag (i.e., make tag_a automatically add tag_b), you can do so by clicking on Request BUR in the navbar on the very top of the Forum page.
