Topic: [APPROVED] Tag alias: generated -> ai_generated

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

You could use it for posts that use some degree of procedural generation in their creation. I don't know of any that do, but like, you could.

Aren't AI-generated posts banned? Why have a tag?

new people who post it thinking it's fine here
kind of a way to oust themselves

The uploader service automatically adds ai_generated if the server detects things like prompt metadata, so it just makes it slightly easier to find these things. If a user wants to volunteer this information despite the image not having prompt metadata, might as well let them.

I guess it's possible someone could tag generated to mean "spawn into existence", such as a drawing (drawing_in_a_drawing) on a magic notepad that makes the drawing become "real" or something, but that's pretty unlikely. So far, it's only ever been tagged for ai_generated, a very old mistag of 3d_(artwork), and an accidental copy-paste of the description into the tag box.

pretty much this, plus ai-art is aliased to ai generated as well
most regular users know AI is not allowed, but every so often new users dump AI art either not knowing the rules, or believing their "good" AI art is the exception (rather than just using dedicated AI sites like e6ai)

Which is why I wasn't sure if an alias to AI or disambiguation was better, even though it's almost always been used for AI.
