I've talked about the tagging here having a lot of problems in the past, and indeed, it's not perfect.

BUT, after being in other platforms where their tags and content warnings are completely half-assed and ignored, I've come to realize just how good we have it.

So thank you, for making it possible to blacklist things by not only having such a robust tag system, but actually ENFORCING it.

Part of why I'm enjoying Itaku a LOT is that it's pretty much e621, but the artists that are DNP here post there of their own volition (And it's more active than Sofurry is)

Ironically, my frustration with Itaku specifically is most of the reason I made this thread. Yeah, they have our tag system on a surface level, but their implementation of it is completely broken and unenforced.

Saw a few too many totally untagged fatal vore (among other things) when even normal vore is one of my biggest make-me-throw-ups.

Opposite problem with the content warnings as well, with totally innocuous things being given content warnings.

Or both at the same time, with an infuriating amount of images being given a tame content warning but undisclosed extreme actual content. Like... "Content warning: nudity. (Actual content: someone being maimed by hyper breast expansion.)"
