Topic: Hi everyone! Also, noob comrade question.

Posted under General

Hey guys! New to e621. Sorry for the stupid question, but how do I add stuff to favorites? I've looked all over for a button/link to do this but I can't find anything. I'm using Firefox 27.0.1 if that matters.

I tried checking the help e621 guide in the help section, but the favorites sub-guide was blank.

On the left side of an image, below the tags, there's a green button with the text "+Favorite" in it. Click it and you've added that image to your favorites

Should be under the image options:

Edit
Flag for deletion
Add note
+Favorite

Might be that those aren't instantly available to newbies.

Hi there! Good to see others have already helped you. Hope to see you around the site, & esp the forums.

Hello, fellow newbie. I suggest hanging out in the forums until your account is automatically time-upgraded and you're able to do fun stuff like comment and whatnot. It's a surprisingly good crowd here.

On the left-hand side, scroll down until you see "+Favorite", which is surrounded by a green border.

If successful, you will see it turn into "-Favorite" with a red border. If you click it at this stage, it will remove from your favorites.

I really have nothing to add

Yes you do. But, since you didn't say it, you'll make a perfect example.

Notice that there is the text "admin" under Rainbow Dash's username. Don't break rules, or admins like her will ban you. But *most* admins here are not tyrannical, and can actually be quite sociable and nice to talk to. If you aren't a dick to them, they'll be happy to help and answer sensible questions.

Anything I missed?

If you find an admin who is being tyrannical (or anything detrimental), please contact me at [email protected] so we can sort it out.

Oh, and welcome to e621, I hope you have fun here :)

I think we've gotten to the point where all our admins are held very accountable
