Standardization makes things easier to find.

I like this idea. Any thoughts against other than "it's not funny that way?"

Humorous tags for the sake of being humorous are, so I hear, frowned on. I don't know that all of these should be aliased to classy, but I am in favor of aliasing the tags on the left side of your suggestion to a single tag. Perhaps alias all of them to one of them. i.e. all to "dapper." Or if you want to keep the funny, alias them to "terribly_british." Test is right, we don't need that many tags that mean the same thing.

I say, just because one is terribly_british doesn't mean one has class.
In all seriousness though, I'd suggest that you amalgamate the others, but leave the 'terribly_british' and 'i_say' tags intact, as they denote a very specific type of image/humour that one might conceivably be searching for. Add a classy implication to them if you're worried about making things easier to find. Dapper, dapper_gent and fancy don't really add anything that isn't implied by classy, so they're not needed.
