I'm guessing you might be artist, commissioner and/or character owner as you posted the other version and you don't entirely seem to know how the site operates.

Who uploads the content is entirely irrelevant. All that matters is that the post is as high quality as possible and sourced and tagged properly. Your upload did not have artist tagged, no sources provided and it was lower quality than was publicly elsewhere available. Because of this, someone simply searched the source, found better version, posted that and flagged inferior version for deletion. So this is entirely how site should operate and nobody is stealing anything.

This does seem like really close to just being regular renamon, but if this is really someones sona, you can create character tag for it. First time tagging, put in tag character:characters_name and in future tagging characters_name will show up under character tags. This way artists and character owners are correctly credited. If the characters name is something generic like Jack, please use Jack_(owners_name) instead.

In any case, this user took FA version which is downscaled and compressed, artist also has at least FurryNetwork, SoFurry and Tumblr accounts where image can be found with 3456x4608 resolution PNG. I added better version at source tag to signify this and you or anyone else is free to upload that version here and flag this one for deletion as inferior.

To avoid this happening in future, simply upload highest quality variation of the post directly. If you need help aquiring that version from specific sites like tumblr, you can refer to wiki page I have tried to maintain https://e621.net/wiki/show/howto:sites_and_sources

Hope this cleared up situation and feel free to ask if something is still questions. Just don't assume that someone uploading artwork is claiming someones sona or is being thief.
