The theme of this picture and the level of detail is not the kind of thing that shows up in most vore pictures, so I can see many people who are familiar with vore still being shocked. Most (not all) of the vore pictures around are about domination, submission or have a humor theme, I think? Seeing two people make-out surrounded by walls of flesh is more like something you would see in a Geiger painting.
