Neri's speech is black this time?

I'm pretty sure how it works is that angels can only hear demons speak that weird faux-Latin (and thus, it needs to be translated into red text), but for everyone else it sounds like perfectly normal English. ...assuming that anyone else can actually hear Neri, which isn't usually the case.

Actually I thinks it's more likely for the reader's sake. There are no angels around to heard the demon so putting the faux-latin is not needed and the women clearly can't see neither heard it so the artist decided to stay in English so we readers can understand it.

Probably the child in next pages will heard it but in faux-latin and won't understand it but she probably will see its body language and will think of it like an over-sized clumpy cat to play with.

Oh yeah I forgot about that! It's pretty weird, my guess is that it's some kind of magical barrier to prevent information from being exchanged, or some weird affinity thing where humans are essentially... the same as demons? And angels are.. something else? It's weird, I wonder how it will get explained in the comic! :)

If you've been reading still then yeah you'll have gotten this already, but for some reason humans can understand, through all the usual tropes of how one would communicate with a ghost.
