You shouldn't alter artists work without permission. I hope you obtained that permission first from FK.

Nope, but I sure hope I've made it clear that it's an edit while still fully crediting FK for the work its based on (since all combined parts used are from FK anyways).
What's important is I hope some people do enjoy the edits and especially appreciate the original artists.

I would contact the artists prior in my edits, but honestly I really don't want to make an alt twitter account or actually create an FurAffinity just to contact since normally I'm an anon lurker in this..... uhh "community" (and I want to keep it that way).

It distresses me that the people here would rather downvote the question than have an adult discussion about the topic.

NotAFurry621, I understand your concerns, but what if the artist doesn't want their work altered? Shouldn't they have a chance to give input over what's done to their creation?

Fluff's actually a user here, though I don't know how regularly he logs in.

AFAIK while he doesn't officially condone things like "faceless Human" edits, as long as it's good quality, abides by copyright, respects the original intent and doesn't violate OPSEC he's generally nonchalant. I don't think he's actually stated an opinion on mashups: most of the deletions have been mods arbitrating quality control (merger edits apparently qualifying as "low quality").

As someone who is dating an artist, I've been heavily informed that a lot of artists can potentially see edits as insulting. My comment wasnt negative, it was a comment hoping that FK wouldn't take an edit negatively like so many other artists would if their art was altered.
