"With some water and sun, what were itty-bitty seeds will get much bigger. You need to be patient and give things plenty of time, though. See?"

"Will my plants grow big like yours?"

"Mhm. But, like I said, you have to be patient and take good care of them. Just like you, if you don't give them enough of what they need they won't be able to thrive."

"Is that why you tell me to always eat my vegetables?"

"See, you get it. You're so smart!"

"But what're you gonna do with that big carrot?"

"Well, I heard there's supposed to be a storm tonight, so I was going to make some soup to get us through it. How's that sound?"

"Yes please!"

"Haha, alright. Let's finish harvesting a few things and then we can head inside to make dinner."
