  • How is it that this tribal society, which has no apparent experience in metallurgy, has somehow managed to create what appears to be a furgonomic iron helmet?

Since others keep bringing this up. As a writer, we leave such details like this to the reader's imagination due to the fact that providing such infinitesimal details does not give any justice to the story in any way, up until there is some particularly justified reason for explaining such phenomenon as to how/why something exist in the worlds we create. This is one of the fun parts of storytelling: keeping readers interested by piquing their imaginations whilst further piquing their curiosity.

Regarding previous page comments stating "for all we know" throughout this series, there's so much we DON'T know, especially when it comes to the broader machinations of this world Gemini created. This series is illustrated as a semi-autobiography by Farin, mostly portrayed in a 3rd person point of view. From a reader's vague & narrow window of this world, a possibility one could gather (reading this far) the foxes may have a culture where only the elders live immaculately, (even elderly) are adorned with considerable clothing, while youths are barely clothed for being the 'lowest' status in their hierarchy. It could be anything that can pique your interests...outside our own reality of a furry artist illustrating youthful, furry characters in bare minimum attire to attract us to such a story. As for that, I have to say, as a writer (particularly a furry one), that a good, noteworthy writer / artist cares most about telling a story, whilst keeping the sexuality in the story a very close second. Whereas, making bare minimum clothing a delightful tease, nudity an enjoyable treat & any intimacy a meaningful, beautiful, heartwarming, & even breathtaking experience to behold. But a GREAT writer / artist makes these things feel deeply personal to the reader, regardless of sexual orientation of both reader & story!
