I had similiar concerns but so I asked the original owner/animator critter on how this worked. And in their words " She charges via kinetic energy so you're all good to go". So no worries! ^_^

Seems to me the heads-up display can be achieved with two colors for the pixels, cyan and yellow with that the displayed colors can be done with only 2 bits per pixel. (0,0) Black, (1,0) Cyan, (0,1) Yellow, and (1,1) Light Green. This saves on computing power that can be allocated to other features.

well we aren't far from Nerve gear or SAO style vr .... Russians and making some good progress....although i wouldn't exactly try out the 1st generation...since comrades are ignoring some safety concerns...last thing you want to do is get your brain fried
