Orientation and self-identified labels vary person to person. Joss might identify as a gay man and people might accuse him of being a straight woman. Labels like sapio, or pan, or undecided may fit him better, but it's up to Joss to introspect and express himself accordingly.

Sexuality and gender are seperate! I'm a trans man, before figuring out my gender I liked both men and women and I still do. I know some trans men who used to identify as lesbians before transitioning, but after going by male pronouns identify as straight.

This is like one of my favorite comics now so...MOOOOORE.
