  • That's...really well done. Even with being able to see the person taking the picture it looks pretty damn amazing.

    That's not a photo, it's a drawing.

  • All it looks like is someone who has a sleeping cat on their carpet put down a shiny ball bearing and took a picture with a high quality camera. It's pretty creative, but not that confusing.

  • The biggest giveaway is that you can't see WHO is taking the "picture." In this case, it would be the cat since it is the subject in the immediate foreground view of the ball, however, there is no camera in this kitty's paws. The person in the background looks like they're holding a macbook or something other than a camera capable of taking such a detailed picture.

This is drawn, I can tell from the strokes and having seen quite a few drawings in my time.

  • Holy....I just enlarged the image, I seriously thought it was just a picture until just now. Yea it does look either painted or drawn...and now I must find the person who made this art to quell my curiosity.

  • It is a drawing, and that thing the person in the picture is holding is a drawing tablet. Kind of gives it away. Very well done though.

  • In school I remember learning there was an artist that did lots of distorted scenes reflected in spheres. I didn't pay enough attention to remember his name though. :P

Anyway I thought the images themselves were cool back then and after seeing this, I still do. It must be quite a task to try and draw the distortion accurately.
