People give you shit you can't use or makes your situation works. Like socks with holes in em. Then when you reject them, or don't wear em, they get pissed at you, call you ungrateful, some even take away anything else they've given you.

I'd rather be barefoot than wearing crusty holey socks, and I'd be grateful for a decent pair. This applies to anything really. You can't spit on a thirsty person and say they should be grateful. There's a reason donation centers will toss anything in poor quality.

You included these images in the e-hentai set, hence I assumed you intended them to be considered part of the comic. I assumed these were an "intermission" of sorts before a Chapter 2 or somesuch.

Oh nah these were part of that "Extra Stuff" section I put at the end, everything in that section isn't meant to be part of the story and instead an "Extra", sorry if that was confusing!

Maybe I’m hopelessly idealistic, but are people really that foolish that they think giving somebody socks with holes in them constitutes as “helping” them?

A new pair of socks costs like, what, $16 at most? That’s enough to at least CONSIDER for anyone that actually has a job.

Like many others here, I’m sorry you’re going through this stuff, but also I can’t do much else to relate to it beyond try and “listen”.

Yes. They think "they'll just be happy to have anything"

This makes me feel a lot better about the time my parents somehow ended up being the intermediary for multible garbage bags worth of clothes donated to the homeless and kept some of the really scuffed up boots etc for yard work because "these are broken". Kid me felt we were stealing from the homeless or something.
