I wasn't planning on getting one of these done so soon, but then I sorta just... did. At the cost of my sleep schedule, no less. Ah well.

Let me explain my process right quick so you can understand why the lines look so much worse in my version than they will in the original. I start by tracing the picture on to sketch paper, which is imperfect and can change things a bit. Then I transfer it from my sketch paper to watercolour by tracing again, which is imperfect and can add flaws. Then I paint everything, which obfuscates the details and can change things a bit, and finally I re-ink it which can once again change things.

So that's why the line work is always going to look considerably worse in my versions than it originally did, haha. If you like what you see at all, consider checking out the original artist as their stuff will be even better.
