what do you think about the new adaptation?

i don't know yet how it's gonna be, i can obly presume that it's gonna be shit like the rest of the disney's live action remakes (+ lion king's 2019)
i don't want to comment neither on vfx effects (just because they are abusing the artists behind) nor swapping a character's skin tone, as disney does appeal to minorities solely to get nore money and without any other meaning

best thing one should do with disney at this point is to give them the benefit of the doubt until the movie release, but for me these remakes of timeless classics will never be as good as the original, they are nostalgia baiting cash grab made with the minimum effort, nothing more and most probably even less.

i hate disney, but i think Ariel looks great like this. anyone complaining about the skin tone is just cucked
