Honest question, if someone was to edit out the censors, would they be able to post it here without issue, assuming their country's laws didnt have something about censoring like this?

pretty sure that happens all the time. There’s a tag called edit for third party edits. If your thinking about doing it, a common thing I see is people not marking themselves as an artist but saying “edit by username, link to original” in the description

It should be fine, there's an actual tag called "edit" / "third-party-edit".
