Image isn't big enough

Its resolution is only 3800x2500, but it has 64-bit color depth (not sure why). I tried running it through GIMP and save it in customary 32-bit depth. It shrunk from some 80 MB to about 4 MB.

Anyone knows what is the 64-bit color depth good for? Is there some reason why this pic uses it?

Could you reupload that one? I'd like to save the image, but my internet connection is currently so bad that I have trouble even loading this pic.
