I remember Shane specifying that this guy was this universes version of Death, so I guess the tag for him would be "Death_(Shane_Frost)"

Hehe, well actually I referred to them as a demon. To quote from a question I answered last page:

"From the perspective of Nah Nah, it describes in brief what transpired before the dragon king and their armies broke the seal from their purgatory to enter into the lands of Endlen once more. The dragon king however is met by the same figure we've seen before. Many assumed they were death, but in reality they are something far, far worse.

When they say to the dragon king "You reek of someone who has made a deal." and "You will always belong to us for it." that should give some idea that 1. there is more than one of this figure. 2. A deal was made that means the dragon king belongs to them because of it. 3. And lastly, the dragon king knows what they are. A demon.

And this figure, who was featured in one of my older works "I can be a princess" is considered one of the most chaotic and dangerous of those demons. "

    Their name will come eventually.

Since it's the exact same fate demon, does that mean that ICBAP and this shares the same universe?

  • Maybe I'm stupid and overthinking it, but he has a sack in the last panel. He's not using his inventory, which leads me to believe he doesn't have one back then.
So when did he get it? Was it the goddess or was it the demon? Hmm. Third party?

He's traveling home... it's probably normal supplies, definitely overthinking it I think

Neither stupid nor overthinking. You have a good eye.

That is correct, yes. Though in those matters it gets stranger and more complicated than that. One of the first comics I ever worked on was known as "The Hoard" that also dealt with a land eaten by wars, and a legion of reviled paladins who also cannot die. They worshiped the goddess of order, Methigon. This same goddess would also appear in one of my other long form stories "A bat followed me home" and make great implications of constantly wandering and intruding on various worlds that require a certain "order" that can only be achieved by periods and cycles of absolute chaos.

The goddess Methigon is also this land's deity as briefly mentioned by multiple characters.

The goddess Methigon sounds a lot like a fate demon, but with a better pr team

Why am I getting Elden ring vibes, undying loyal servants to a goddess who pushes "order" that isn't at all equitable to every denizen in the lands they take, forcing "lesser" races out.
