Rest Stop on the Road to Friendship

This is an image that has been lingering on my Patreon since Spring, and I kept forgetting to share it here as well...

Those of you who know my tastes might know that I'm not a huge fan of Starlight Glimmer... I have various issues with her backstory and her use in the show, as well as how it affected the cast balance and such.

Of course, that doesn't mean that I hate her, or that I don't appreciate some of the things that was done with her... or all of her episodes. The Road to Friendship was one of the better episodes of the late seasons, I thought. It helps that I'm a big Trixie fan, and I love her caravan, so there's that...

In this case, I happened to work on a 3D model of Trixie's wagon to print out and paint with my 3d printer, and as long as I had the asset, I figured why not use it for an image? Plus I was inspired by the change in the seasons as we head into the summer months with warm nights, and childhood memories of stretching those late evenings out as long as possible. I hope people enjoy the peaceful image above.
