e621 maintains an Avoid Posting List that lists artists who have requested that their art not be posted to the website via a Takedown Request. Any art that is posted from these artists is marked as "Do Not Post" (DNP for short) and gets removed.

However, there are some artists that are okay with their art being on e621 under certain conditions, usually regarding who can upload their art to the website. These artists are therefore said to be "conditionally DNP", and their Artist tags are set to implicate the conditional_dnp tag. This helps the Janitors quickly see posts in the approval queue that need to be double checked to ensure that the artist's conditions are met before post approval.
